Work in ex-zones by specialists

Träxler is the officially competent person pursuant to Section 14 BetrSichV and it is authorized to work on its own ATEX certified system as well as on third party systems. Approx. 300 annual ATEX maintenances, we perform, demonstrate our experience.

Draft tube mixers must be subjected to an annual ATEX maintenance. This regular inspection work on aggregates in ex-zones includes:

• on-site inspection

• inspection of the current consumption and bearing temperatures

• inspection of the coupling clearance

• inspection of smooth running

• inspection of guying while the sludge level is lowered

• suction of the mixer grease caught in the seating ring

• disposal of the old mixer grease

• supply of operating material, HT 4060 MF

• coordination with the operating personnel

Conversion of draft tube mixers acc. to ATEX

Träxler provides its support in the application of ATEX regulations for maintenance work on mixers in ex-zones. We upgrade existing aggregates to the state of the art (BetrSichV) and we ensure completion of the work conforming to ATEX. The mixer is retrofit with the required monitoring equipment and/or if needed, it is newly introduced on the market with a new EU Conformity Declaration acc. to ATEX Directive (2014/34/EU).
